Monarchs? Of course the focus will be Asclepias (milkweed plants) Did you know there were 10 different Asclepias species that are native to Connecticut? Or that there are 78 species native to some region of the USA?

What about all our other native butterflies? Do you know what plants they need to survive? Most of their caterpillars need a specific plant host.... Learn more tonight!!!

Hardy Plant Society Members are free…. Guests are asked for a $5 donation. We love to share our knowledge of horticulture with all it’s trials and tribulations… join us as we interact with our speakers and members before, during & after the presentation. Our meetings are very interactive & we enjoy each others company in a small group setting. Socializing and goodies will begin at 7:00PM with the speaker scheduled for 7:30
