Connecticut’s first solely native plant nursery was established in 1994 by Denise Ciastko. Her knowledge, vision and dedication to the preservation of Connecticut’s Natural Heritage continues today with Pan’s Acres Nursery LLC.  

Denise Ciastko’s most recent projects have included: 2 Acre Dune Restoration in Old Saybrook, Establishment of new dunes destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in Waterford,  Native Meadows, Native Wildflower Waterfalls, and Native Raingardens befitting many varied Southern New England Habitats.

Over the past few decades Denise Ciastko has received many awards for her quality of native plants and design at the Connecticut Flower and Garden Show including  an award from The Connecticut Horticultural Society.  

Join Denise on Saturday February 21st as she discusses "Creating Sustainable Habitats for Pollinators." For The CT Flower and Garden Show, Convention Center, Hartford CT.
